The doctor can listen to your concerns, examine you, evaluate your symptoms, & make a recommendation regarding the best next steps, including further screening if necessary.
During your appointment, the GP will examine you, ask you questions about your symptoms, & evaluate whether there is cause for you to have further screening. She may recommend a mammogram, ultrasound, or biopsy if you have a suspicious lump.
If the doctor thinks that further investigation is warranted, she will be able to refer you to the most appropriate specialist. Any referrals you require are included in the price of your consultation.

Breast tissue changes throughout the menstrual cycle, so it is not always easy to monitor your breast health. It is recommended that you perform regular self-examinations in order to underst& what is normal for your breasts, which means paying attention to the way your breasts both look & feel.
