When you come in for a consultation with one of our GPs, the doctor will examine you, ask you questions about any symptoms or concerns, & then make the most appropriate recommendations. This may include urine or blood testing, scans or other imaging, x-rays, & ultrasounds, depending on your symptoms. Any necessary referrals will be organised for you, & in most cases, we can get you a same-day appointment.
Urological issues cover a range of medical conditions, like urinary tract infections (UTI) & prostate issues, as well as surgical problems like bladder or prostate cancer & kidney stones. Sexual health also falls under this category, & you may wish to come in for a sexual health screening if you have had unprotected sex or are experiencing dysuria (pain on urination), unusual discharge, or other sexual health-related symptoms.

There are a number of common urological & sexual health issues that could be causing your symptoms. Our doctors will give you a thorough examination, talk to you about your symptoms & any relevant lifestyle factors or family history, & can recommend further testing where necessary.
We also have the option of full sexual health testing, if you are concerned about STDs or if your symptoms indicate that STI testing is relevant. Do not worry if you aren’t sure what kind of testing you need. During your consultation, the doctor can recommend the most appropriate testing for your individual case. If you need to see a urologist or other specialist for diagnosis, imaging, further advice or treatment, this can be arranged for you at no extra cost.
In addition, if any of your recommended tests show infection, we can organise a prescription for you.
We also offer testing for prostate-specific antigen (PSA), which indicates your risk of prostate cancer.
